About Us

We take “impossible” as our starting point. In an industry where verification simulators have evolved incrementally for decades, we chose to question the architecture itself, and build a new one from the ground up.

Hiveware began when Ohad Agami and Yaniv Pascal set out to build the one thing everyone said could not be built: a new, high-performance simulator from scratch. “Pick a different lane,” many said. “Simulation is impossible for a startup.” But the more impossible it sounded, the more necessary it became.

A Clean-Sheet Breakthrough

Instead of patching a 30-year-old architecture, Hiveware started with a blank page.

The result is a new class of simulator that’s built for modern compute, designed for scaling across CPUs and cloud, and engineered for the performance that today’s silicon demands.

This clean-sheet architecture is also designed to eliminate wasted compute. Instead of leaving CPUs and memory idle, Hiveware scales verification performance across the resources teams already pay for, on-prem and in the cloud.

This clean-sheet foundation is already powering real enterprise-scale designs, proving that the industry doesn’t need another incremental improvement but a reset.

Mission

A New Pace for Silicon

Our mission is to change how fast verification teams can develop, debug, and deliver.

Because when simulation accelerates, everything accelerates:

  • Debug cycles
  • Architectural exploration
  • Project Cost

And ultimately, innovation itself.

It always seems impossible until it’s done.

Ohad Agami
Co-Founder & CEO

A systems-focused engineer with deep experience in semiconductor architectures and complex verification flows at Hailo (AI Semiconductor company), Ohad leads Hiveware’s vision to rebuild simulation from first principles. Drawing on his background in Unit 81, he brings a rigorous, algorithmic approach to solving problems long considered intractable in EDA. His leadership anchors Hiveware’s clean-sheet innovation and long-term technical direction.

Yaniv Pascal
Co-Founder & CTO

Yaniv is the architectural mind behind Hiveware’s performance-driven simulator design. With expertise spanning execution models, correctness, and large-scale system optimization, he guides the engineering organization with precision and depth. His experience in Unit 81 and Hailo (Semiconductors AI company) informs his methodical approach to building reliable, high-performance infrastructure for modern SOC verification.

Ben Vider
VP R&D

Ben Vider is the VP of R&D at Hiveware, bringing extensive experience in chip design, compiler technology, and leading high-impact engineering teams. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University. Before joining Hiveware, Ben spent five years at Mellanox (acquired by NVIDIA) as a chip design engineer, followed by a leadership role at Hailo’s compiler group. Ben combines deep technical expertise with a strong product-driven mindset, driving Hiveware’s engineering organization toward innovation, quality, and scalable execution.

Ronen Laviv
VP Business Development

Ronen Laviv is a seasoned semiconductor and cloud executive with a rare blend of deep technical grounding and high-impact business leadership. He began his career managing SoC development and validation at National Semiconductor (Acquired by TI), owning full life-cycle responsibility for complex SoCs and leading teams through architecture, verification, design, bring-up and production. Ronen holds an Electrical Engineering degree and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.

At Cadence, Ronen spent nearly a decade driving large-scale verification and simulation deployments for top global semiconductor companies, and later moved to the Enterprise segment at AWS, helping semiconductor companies migrate to AWS cloud.
